This recipe is for those nights where you don’t have the energy to spend a lot of time on dinner. We relate to that feeling, and this one is our go-to recipe! Quick and easy meets nutritious and delicious in this Turkey Schnitzel Dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 x pkg Hayter’s Farm Turkey Schnitzel (4 portions per pack)
- 1 x pkg Mini Potatoes – We Used Little Yellow Potatoes
- 1-2 Cloves of Garlic, Minced
- Lettuce & Salad Toppings of Your Choice
Method of Preparation
Potatoes
- Wash and dry your potatoes. We keep them whole, but you could cut them in half or dice them if you’ve got little ones to feed.
- In a skillet, add a few drizzles of oil and 1/4 cup of water, then, place your potatoes in the skillet. Cover with a lid and cook over medium-high heat (8-12 minutes) until the water is gone and the potatoes are fork tender.
- At this point, you can season your potatoes to your liking! We turn down the heat to low, add a little butter, a couple cloves of garlic and fresh pepper and stir to coat the potatoes until fragrant.
Salad
- You know how you like your salad – do your thing! This part can be done while the potatoes are being cooked to save time.
Turkey Schnitzel
- From fresh or thaw, add a few drizzles of oil to your cast iron and cook your turkey for 3-5 minutes per side until internal temperature reaches a minimum of 165F.
