
The best part about this crockpot pulled turkey recipe is that you can prepare it in the morning so that it takes minimal effort when you get home after work! The turkey comes out juicy, so you can use it as is, or, add a sauce. Use this pulled turkey for a sandwich, wrap, nachos, tacos, flatbread… the options are endless.
Ingredients
- 1 x Hayter’s Farm Breast Roast (Sage & Onion or Seasoned available)
- 1 x Large Carrot, Diced (optional)
- 1 x Medium Onion, Diced (optional)
- 1 x Celery Stalk, Diced (optional)
- 6 Cups Stock/Broth of choice
- Sauce of choice (optional)
Method of Preparation
1. Clean and dice your veg. Then, put your veg in the bottom of your crockpot. Alternatively, you can add the turkey right to the crockpot without the veg.
2. Lay your turkey on the veg and and put some salt and pepper on top.
3. Fill the crockpot with your stock or broth, fully covering the turkey with the liquid.
4. Put on low for 8+ hours.
5. Remove the turkey from the crockpot and use two forks to shred it.
6. If you’re choosing to add a sauce, now is the time. Then, enjoy on your preferred meal of choice!
