Ingredients
- 4-8 Hayter’s Turkey Wings, split
- 1 garlic clove, whole
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 cup honey
- 2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. ginger powder
- 4 tsp. worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp. parsley flakes
- 3 Tbsp BBQ Sauce, your choice
Method of Preparation
- Cut wings into two pieces if not split.
- Put Hayter’s Wings in a large pot with enough water to cover wings, add 1 whole clove of garlic, bring to boil and gently boil for 20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, combine olive oil, honey, lemon juice, minced garlic, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, BBQ sauce, and parsley.
- Remove wings from water, cool enough to pat dry with a paper towel. Brush each piece of wing with glaze. Cook in a preheated oven at 350 for 20- 30 minutes. Test for doneness by piercing with a sharp knife, juices should be clear or nearly clear. I prefer using a test thermometer. The internal temperature should be 165F/74C. Turn wings over and drizzle with remaining glaze return to oven and broil on low rack in oven until golden brown and return.
