A quick and easy lunch or dinner for a hot summer evening. You could easily prepare all of the items ahead so that you can quickly throw together a wrap to-go throughout the week.


Ingredients

  • 1 x Pkg Hayter’s Farm Seasoned Steaks
  • 1 x Pkg Hayter’s Farm Turkey Bacon
  • 3 x Small Heads Romaine Lettuce, Chopped
  • 2 1/2 Cups of Croutons of Choice
  • 2 Tbsp Capers
  • 1/2 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • Caesar Dressing of Your Choice
  • Wraps of Choice and Size

 


Method of Preparation

  1. Preheat your BBQ or a pan to medium heat. Once preheated, cook your turkey steaks to 165F internal temperature. Once cooked, cool for 10 minutes and then slice into thin pieces.
  2. While your steaks are cooking, slice up 1/2 pkg of Turkey bacon into 1cm by 2cm pieces. Once the steaks are done, cook the bacon to your desired crispiness.
  3. Chop and wash your romaine and then thoroughly dry.
  4. Add the romaine, sliced turkey steak, turkey bacon, capers and parmesan to a bowl and add desired amount of Caesar dressing. Mix well.
  5. Lay out your tortilla wrap and desired amount of salad into the middle. Roll your wrap and add a toothpick to secure.Note: Serves 5-8 using large tortillas that are filled generously.
